あなたは渡れる？「怖いけど美しい橋」ベスト20　見るだけで足がすくんでしまう橋から、気分爽快な橋まで

島や谷、川を結ぶ橋。大昔の橋は自然の倒木や川に飛び石を置いたものだけだったのが、現代では長大な橋を建設するようになりました。真っ青な海の上を渡る橋や、足がすくんでしまう吊り橋、自然の中に溶け込んだ美しい木造橋など日本をはじめ世界にも名物と言われる橋がたくさんあります。その中でも見ても渡っても思わず息を飲むような橋をご紹介します。   1. 熱帯雨林のジャングルを上から楽しむ「カカム・キャノピー・ウォーク」 ガーナのカカム国立公園はガーナの中でも一番の観光地。年間で約35万人もの観光客が訪れます。その中でも一番有名なのが「キャノピー・ウォーク」。大自然の中、全長350m、最高で地上40mの吊り橋が7本あり、なかなかの迫力です。熱帯雨林の木々の上を超え、無事渡ることができれば550種類を超える蝶、約400種類の鳥、猿や時には野生のゾウも現れるカカムナショナルパークの大自然を満喫することができます。ただ綱とワイヤーで支えられた細い幅の板を渡るには勇気が必要かも。人が足を踏み出すだけで大きく揺れ、その高さと橋の心許なさに（半年に一度はロープを貼り替えているとはいえ）打ち勝てた者だけが動物たちと同じ目線の景色を楽しむことができます。
